AM Statement About V8 Builds
News flash... The motors they are currently using are already German Cosworth engines... Wtf is the big deal?! So they are building it a couple hundred miles down the road (by a MUCH better engine manufacturer), big deal.
I swear the "flat-earthers" on this forum need to let it go. It's already 100% official. If you don't like it then leave Aston Martin and go drive something else...
The future is bright for aston martin... All great things to come!

They are German Cosworth engine currently (based on Jag/Ford architecture).
The deal is already 100% done! also fact. If 1% of current aston owners are offended by it Aston martin won't even blink an eye.
Again, this dead horse has been beaten to death a 100 times for over a year now. Moderators should just put an end to all of these aston/AMG threads because they are becoming a broken Record at this point.

Forums are meant for opinion and debate over things we are passionate about but most importantly, we should respect eachothers opinions.
Back on topic! Will the next Vantage will have an AMG engine instead of Cosworth

I think you guys have covered it pretty well...007 your choice of language and the manner in which it was delivered was demeaning and unnecessary...you guys are all AM drivers...you should get along better
In my own, gentlemanly way, I intend to shut up, wait and see what comes of the new partnership.
In the mean time, I'll continue to wonder why the One-77 engine isn't now the production powerplant for the Vanquish. I will also hope that the next Geneva or Frankfurt show is the one where we get to see the next Vantage...and that it makes me weak in the knees.
Unless Aston Martin just can't create the next, most beautiful, most desirable car on the road, I'll be here.

Can't we all just get along... I say what ever moves the AM brand into the future is a good thing. I'm hearing that the engines will be as bespoke as they can be while benefitting from the latest AMG/MB technology. My next Aston will be one with this new technology and it's going to be a good thing, I'm sure.

Just wanted to say how I enjoyed catching up with this thread despite all the vitriol, and how pleased I am to see more and more of us Aston enthusiasts realizing that, done the right way, this AMG deal is a real blessing..
....I even missed a couple of FA Cup goals reading all 6 pages
