Angry Aston Martin Vantage V8 2007 - wont engage gear

Vehicle will start, however when placed in drive the vehicle will not engage gear, move forward and remains in neutral. I have tried using the paddle shifts also however same issue occurs. Has anyone had this issue and what is required fix?

Do you have any other background? Has it been in storage or sat idle at all or did this happen suddenly. Any symptoms or shifting problems leading up to it?

Does the display indicate that it is in gear, or does it stay in N or P?
