Highest Mileage

Hey,

I've been wondering what mileage do you have on your Astons? My V8 Vantage has been a garage queen for years but the Rapide now is almost a daily user. I would love to know how much you put on your car yearly? What is your feedback on Astons with higher mileage?

Thanks!

2006 -- 26K miles total. I'm the 2nd owner and I'm doing about 6K miles a year. First owner did about 2.5K miles a year.

It's running very strong, probably better than when I first got it.

2nd owner', purchased 4 years ago with 7500 miles, drove daily for 2 years, now just once or twice a week. No mechanical issues, about to turn 28,000.
CA miles so good mix of highway, street and stop&go.

With an older version, it's easier not to care about depreciation....but as they say, you wouldn't stop sleeping with your girlfriend/wife to save her for the next guy....

MY 2008 Vantage has 26,800. Bought it 4-years ago with 4,500 miles on the ODO--and had a nice vacation/road-trip with my wife driving it back from Chicago to Lake Tahoe. South Dakota and Montana have some wide-open roads, so I was able to check the tire balance up to 145--smooth as glass. I first checked with my wife "Looks like a nice clear road and no cars; time to open it up a little don't you think?" Response: "Sounds OK to me, go for it!" As I was going through 140 she said, "I THINK THAT'S FAST ENOUGH!"
Fun Memories for sure.

It's great to hear from all of you, especially with higher mileage, i am planning on enjoying every second driving my Astons. The Rapide will remain my daily user till further notice, i can't waste a day without driving it.

I believe once there are more than a few "higher milage" cars that are problem free, the resale prices will increase considerably as the fear factor due to milage diminishes. The common knowledge I can confirm through experience is that a car ages sometimes more from sitting than driving. In conservation terms the car is being "consumed" driven or not. The objective as an owner or steward (in most cases) is deriving maximum utility. I will never forget my friends $22k rehab of an 8 yr old "100 pt" car.
