Suspension is the main thing driving me out of my current Vantage but I'm often unsure of what's what when a "comfort" option is out there.
Compared to whats on the showroom floor right now, which has the comfort, which the sport?

I know everybody says that. But I've driven '11 Vantages and a '13 V8VS, all with the OEM tires. The vast difference in suspension suppleness, precision and refinement did not come from the tires.
While I'm sure the SSs are great, comfy tires, the suspension hardware makes the first difference.
Now, back to talking about Karl's new car!

Interesting. How did you make that call? Are both specs something that you've experienced? Since a "sport" suspension option went a way a few MYs ago, what is what now?

I drive an 09 with the sports package and if it's the same suspension... is not uncomfortable. It is on the hard side though... harder than the M3 I used to drive for sure. Not nearly as bad as a cooper S. It's my DD and I've got used to it. My old non-sport pack SLK was harder.

Can we have a Melbourne picture meet up? Would love to take proper pics of your car and share them with the group. I will buy you the fish and chips of your choice for your trouble. I just left London and am headed back. Saw the dealership on Oxford street. Would sincerely enjoy meeting up with you Karl-Franz as you are quite the resource on the boards.

it'd be nice if they had an apprentice who could take pics at various points in construction of each person's car, that'd be a nice thing to have!
