Just bought another Aston today

I contacted the factory and put in a request which they seemed happy to oblige. Very nice of them to do this for me and I am very grateful. As someone else pointed out, try doing that with a Porsche. By the time the request came in, the car would've been completed and shipped.

When I showed the build pics to a friend, he said: "You should see if they could just ship you the parts and you'll put it together to save some money ".
I think he's right. They should just save themselves the work. After all, as soon as I get it home, I'm just going to take it apart anyway.

Update
So far, my dealership has received 3 GTs but all of them have been sped'c pretty basically with very few upgrades. I get the feeling mine will be one of the more heavily optioned cars they get.
These are the three they have received so far:
1: Jet Black 6-spd with black interior, white accent stripe. This car is the only one that they ordered with the GT stripe which, surprisingly, looked very good. None of us expected the stripe to be as eye-catching as it turned out in the flesh. I think it looks good because of the contrast with the black paint. Car had yellow calipers, premium audio, technology pack, front parking sensors and memory seats.
2: Skyfall Silver 6-spd with black interior, white accent stripe in leather. The car had the standard silver calipers, premium audio, technology pack, and aston wings embroidery in headrest.
3: Speedway White Sportshift with black interior and red accent stripe. This car has red calipers, premium audio, technology pack, heated memory seats, Auto-dim mirror w/ Homelink.
It's interesting to note that none of the cars have been ordered with the "graphics pack" which is seen in all the launch cars and brochures. This pack includes the contrasting lipstick, rear airfoil, mirror caps, and (coupes only) A-pillar/cant rails. The graphics pack is standard on the N430 (rest of world) variant but is a $3200 option on the GT. Also, no roadsters were ordered, only coupes. Of course, with the FMVSS waiver still not granted, roadsters may be the only cars you can actually buy starting next week and for the next year.
