Thoughts on 2006 used DB9
I was looking at a Maserati GTS when the dealer took in an 06 DB9 with 5k miles on trade. The car looks as new p, not a mark in it. It has all the original as delivered items including the cover, tender and an umbrella. It's black with some type of pearl essence in it and beige interior.
I can get the car for 73k with a fresh service. My brother was telling me that they are known to have electrical problems but I thought I'd ask folks here what I could expect and if the price is any good? One owner, maintained, no paintwork, 5k miles.

Electrical problems on modern day Astons are no more common than on any other brand. This myth is perpetuated by many on the Internet (many of whom have never even owned an Aston in the first place) for an issue that hasn't existed for almost a decade. Besides, in this day of global cars where any brand builds cars anywhere in the world, trying to pin electrical problems on a car simply because the company is British, is just plain silly.

The 06 has the old dash, soft suspension and Linn radio. Not good things. It is not a sports car if that's what you are after. 77K sounds high as I know of one that just sold for $65 from the original owner. Drive it and see what you think.
British Electrics got a bad reputation because of Lucas--Often referred to as "Lucas Prince of Darkness"--and the famous Lucas 3 Position switch "Dim, Flicker, Off". Rumor had it the reasons Brits drink warm Beer is because their refrigerators were made by Lucas.

5k miles, personally I would like to see a car more driven than parked. Any chance to talk with the 1st owner? If I was looking, and it had the all options i wanted - I would consider it! Good luck in your search.
