got my email tonight, I just waited too long and no slots left, I can go in the "bullpen" and wait to maybe called up for no show. I'll probably pass as they want everyone there by 730 which means I'd have to leave here at 0530.
As it is only 15 mins from my house, I think my wife are going to pop down for a bit and check it out. I can snap some photos and report back on my impressions.
Incidentally, since I will be there, I made arrangements to meet up with a local Atlanta detailer, Jean-Claude, to discuss some paint protection coatings for the new vehicle. He seems to know his stuff and do great work.
Have you (or any other GA/ATL AM owners) had anything like this done locally around here?
Very cool! The Elise was a huge hit. We are now Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Lotus and McLaren. I am the Aston Martin manager. I am working on putting together some Aston Martin specific events here in the Atlanta area.
that'll be great as coming from the Lotus scene with monthly activities, Astons in atlanta is kind of barren.

I second that-would be great to have ATL AM events.
In terms of the coatings, I'd love to get your thoughts on some options. I was actually just there on Thursday getting a couple things looked at. Next time I stop by (some time this week I'm guessing), maybe we can chat for a few.

That would be great! I'd love to meet you and talk about some possible gatherings.
Hey guys - my wife and I ended up making it out to Caffiene and Exotics in ATL on Sunday and it was a really great time.
The event is very well organized, with plenty of staff around to help get the cars arranged where they need them. There were probably around 150 cars there, of a variety of different makes.
Each make had a section and the variety was pretty cool to see. You had all the makes you would exepct + Porshe, Corvette, and a handful of Audi, Benz, and BMW. There were new, old, and modded examples. There were only 3 Astons present this time, and they mentioned there were 4 last month.
Everyone at the event was great as well - from the organizers and staff, to the owners and spectators. Everyone was very friendly, chatty, and respectful.
In terms of registration, I was pretty late (registered on Wed) but was still able to get a good spot in the Aston section by ~8:30. I showed up ~7:30AM and that was plenty early.
All in all, I would recommend the show to those in the area. Below are a couple pics my wife snapped so you can get a sense.
