how do you remove emotional control unit?

Hi All,

I have a small issue with my DBS. I just noticed that the Emotional control unit, where the key goes has a scratch in the little plastic piece that reads " Engine" I bought just that piece but have no idea how to take that piece out of the car and swap it out.

Anyone know how to remove the center control unit without breaking anything?

Suggest using a selection from your 'weapons pack'....

Oh, and the key is the Emotion Control Unit, you are referring to the docking station.

I think to get that panel out you need to start with the armrest then move forward to the shifter assembly followed by radio panel. It's all screws.

yes so the docking station is what I am referring to, but you can pry that part out without actually taking the armrest off. My question is simply do you have to take out the panel to reach it or you can take it off from the front?

And this post seems to confirm you can only take it off if the facia comes off:
