Swan-wing door adjustment?

I feel like the doors on my 2006 DB9 Volante should hold their open position (both fully open and in intermediate positions) more securely.
Has anyone adjusted their doors... and if so, how?
Thanks!

You need to replace the door strut, no tension adjustment. Just like many gas charged struts on any vehicle they fade in performance over time and use.

^^^^^ this. I had mine replaced -- night and day difference. Also replaced the hood/bonnet and trunk/boot struts as they were getting weak too.

der Fahrer is infamous around these parts
007 Vantage posted a very useful DIY on replacing the door and hatch struts:

EDIT: link above is for hood and hatch, not the doors.

I ordered the same parts and had it done by my mechanic since I don't have all the lift equipment yet. It made a world of a difference. The car feels new!

I need to do this. My rear hatch doesn't stay open too well, especially when it's cold. The thing fell on my head the other day. It was... heavy.

The link here is really helpful. I just did on my DB9. Night and day difference. Parts are super cheap from AMB. A great DIY project for anyone with even moderate skills. Good luck!
