I drive a 2006 VV8 and have not had a day's trouble until . . . my right indicator intermittently flashes a dash error that it is not working despite the it blinking on and off. The right driver door lock squawks loudly when I open it with the remote and now can only be locked/unlocked with key. The right wing mirror wouldn't electrically adjust.

Diagnosis from Aston service centre is to replace expensive light cluster despite bulbs working and replace two door modules (2006 model is out of date so both need replacing to new hardware).

I don't want to replace separate components only to find that there is an auto-electric/PC Board fault giving rise to these problems.

Do you think they're connected?
