The way I look at it is like this . Yes OEM filters are expensive but there are suitable alternatives . Castrol liquid Gold is also expensive and yes there are alternatives . However considering the cost of these cars and how much an engine issue would cost to repair changing the oil once per year is really really cheap insurance .
