V8 Vantage GTS

Only 100 allocated for the USA. This is the final edition and it's finally announced! Should I go for it??!

P.S. Is Porsche gonna sue again?

What's the specs you are hearing on your end?

Ironic they are naming it after the car from which its new drivetrain is being derived from lol

Technically, Mercedes has the rights to the name GT-S which is what it's really called and since they are partners with Aston they can probably get away with it.

Well it's a good name, I was expecting maybe a retro "X-Package" or maybe RS but GTS does just fine

I'm looking over the options sheet and there is a Sport and Lux versions with pretty much all the S options but some unique to each model (i.e. less CF in the Lux)

How did you order a GTS before 10/16, the release date of the spec sheet?

I can't find any info on this GTS model... is this being released in The U.S.?

My dealer told me they're not ordering any more GT's and not much was sure about whether there would be more vantages. But, yeah.. that's just a dealer.

Anyone have a link on this GTS model?

It was an order based upon information given to me by my local dealer. What I ordered was a 2016 V12S with a manual transmission... not a GTS. I'm told to expect March production. I plan on going to Gaydon to visit the car as its being built.

I saw the 2016 wheels in person and I was not a huge fan, other the. That interior is a massive improvement. Black annodize new gauges and pedals are a nice touch too.

Are you sure you meant massive?
Are the changes that significant?
I really like the look of my 2014 V8V black all leather interior.

If by "massive" you mean that it has the same touch controls as any microwave oven built since the '90s, then yes.

I do agree on the wheels. Thought I would like them more in person, but was disappointed. They don't look right on the car and make the brakes look smaller for some reason. Feels like they belong on an 8-cylinder Ferrari instead.

They share the same gauges as the 2016 GT. apparently all 2016s get the same gauges now, but I have not confirmed this myself as the 2016 V12s are not out yet.

Axarunner - didn't realize they would do a V12S with a manual transmission ?
That would be one rare car !!! That's exactly what I would order if I could afford it !!!
Happy with my V8S manual for now !

It is my understanding that V12 Vantages (V8 Vantage S as well) are only supplied with the automatic variety transmissions.
A new 6MT 12 cylinder would make me think seriously about trading my new Vantage manual for one.
