Wow. Doug admitted that the Aston my be reliable

After getting all the way to Vermont, he did not find snow. So, he drives on a lake. (Which for Folks like me from MN, it's not that big of a deal.)

At the end, he even admits that his AM was great on the whole trip.

Nice to see a few complements but this guy is a total tool. I am sure Aston Martin along with many others wish he would just go away.

I agree, his videos are like Jackass with cars. I started watching him when he got the Aston, and slowly it looks like he may be falling for the AM. Time will tell. I guess we will see if he takes it to carmax like he did with his Ferrari.

Wow, theres not much more to say!! Not sure how this guy functions in life. Why was he surprised Vermont had no snow? Doesn't he check the weather?? Normal people do, and If you were taking a trip just to drive in it, I would think you would make sure there was some. If this guy gets scared that easy, his wife must own him. Toolbag isn't even a comparison.

Perhaps he is hoping that Aston Martin would pay him to shut up.

This guy is no good for AM corporate image.

I'm not sure he is good for anyone's brand

He does play the self effacing idiot well. I just question how he survives in real life.

Unfortunately, a reliable Aston doesn't make for good click-bait ... look out for more "My Aston's engine imploded when I tried to drive it with diesel" type articles.

Ron,
Could you please give me back the 2 minutes of my life that were wasted on this moron. Boggles my mind how people function in the world these days.

Side note: I am sure filming yourself or having a friend do it for a youtube video is daunting to say the least to keep focus with conversation, and stay on point. Thats not easy, however, after watching what you just taped (most you tube posters), the fact that no one realizes how stupid they appear, is what gets me. I would not even attempt it. My in car videos from work I wish were erased instead of archived, Although other people find it neat or cool, I feel embarrassed. I like the silent kind or just the sound of the car.

Well said. I could not agree more. He is a hack with no knowledge whatsoever of cars or how they function.

I'm not watching any of his videos or reading his articles. I've got better things to do.

I started doing YouTube videos a couple months ago. I'd never filmed myself before, and watching myself on video is just... weird. Started noticing a lot of stuff about myself, like how much I use my hands when I talk lol. And any time you misspeak stands out sooo much. It's easy to correct yourself while talking during a conversation, but in a video it sticks.

It's all fun and games until buyers are willing to spend less money on your Aston when you're ready to sell because they heard they can't handle 1/8" of snow. I get the entertainment aspect of it, but he's really not doing any of us any favors!

That's assuming that any of his videos are taking with any credibility. His work is viewed as humor and the idiot about. If he was taken seriously, Ferrari and Range Rover would have suffered has he did pretty much the same antics with them. He is not Ralph Nader, nor viewed as one (Although Ralph was discredited over the Corvair eventually as the car had no worse crash record than any other car of the period).

Don't get me wrong I'm not defending the guy, I think he is only after clicks to earn a living. I do find some of his antics entertaining. The driving on Ice was fun to watch, as I would not drive that expensive, nor heavy of a car on ice. And I grew up in MN the land of ice fishing.
