Before and after pics of my gauge cluster piece reupholstered in Porsche leather. I will do all the other parts as I can afford them lol! It's was only $180 for this part. Seemed a bit high but better than the replacement cost!

Looks good. Just FYI, you can get an entire genuine Aston Martin leather hide for just a couple hundred bucks (usd) directly from their supplier. Would match your current leather exactly.

To be honest I'm liking the feel of this leather much more, and I plan on getting all the pieces replaced so eventually they will all match ;-)

But for now the only difference I can see is the fact that this leather is in perfect condition. The stitching color is slightly different, but I also think that's do to age on the original stitching.

But out of curiosity could you pm me a link to the leather supplier?

I don't think I can post a link here, but the company is in Scotland and called "Bridge of Weir". Just email their sales contact information from their website. I dealt with a very helpful gentleman named Ryan Boyce and purchased 5 complete hides in Obsidian black and it was a perfect match to my 2005 DB9.

You could also have just re stretched the existing leather and reglued it with better glue . I had to do it to mine and you can't tell . Cost about 6$ CAN for the glue which I already had for Healey jobs .
