Centerlock conversion (like GT8)

Does anyone know if it is simple to convert into centerlock ?
Maybe by swapping the standard hub and wheel bearing assembly by the GT8 ones ?

Forgeline has a centerlock conversion kit. I don't have any experience with that kit but I have a few sets of their wheels, they are very well made and forgeline has excellent customer service

Good luck!

$2,200.00 for the Flush-Loc Systemby by Forgeline
The OEM hub and wheel bearing assembly for Vantage, Vanquish and DB9 cost $338.00
How does cost the GT8 hub and wheel bearing assembly ?

Hey bunob, I just heard back from my supplier and he's still waiting for the GT8 hub info. But he was able to get me all the info for the GT12 hood/bonnet that I asked for so I have to imagine he'll be able to get the GT8 hubs as well. I'll follow up with you when I get more info!

I am curious as to why you want to do the conversion, though... just for looks? To be different? Not sure what the performance gains would be. Just curious!

Telum, I like your post 'Time to get nimble' ;-)

For the conversion :
1 - the 20 wheel nuts are heavy
2 - the wheel nuts are placed on a bigger radius and generate a torque
3 - they are many wheels lighter and cheaper (like OZ, etc) with center lock than what we can find for our Vantage
4 - I like the look of the center lock wheels

According to the parts manual there are just a few parts to change:
Hubs
Drive pins
Bolts

In addition you would need new wheels with the attaching center-lock nuts and the appropriate wrench.

I've ordered all from AM Washington DC.

Looks like a simple conversion and the parts are all available from Aston.

Could you give us the parts number and the prices of the parts ?
Could you make us a tutorial with photos ?

I am eager to see the result ;-)

Thanks ;-)

It take a special tool too, to unscrew the central nuts ?
