2009 vantage 4.7 oil change question.

Since the dealer failed in multiple places doing my inspection I don't trust them that they change the oil. I'm going to do this myself so I know I am good to go. I looked under the car the other day and it appears that the under plate has a hole cut for the drain plug in the reservoir. Also it appears that I can see the drain plugs looking underneath the car. Am I missing something or can I do the oil change without dropping the lower pan tray?

No as you have 3 x drain plugs to remove and the filter so the lower pan tray has to be removed only 10-12 bolts... someone did a DIY somewhere

The undertray needs to be removed to drain the oil reservoir (the big aluminum tank). Only takes a minute to remove.

Mine had a circle hole under the sump bolt. Is this not stock? No remove of that needed?

I also have the hole on my 09. You probably don't need to remove the undertray but you may splash some oil on top of it while removing the tank drain plug it you don't. I just remove it as it is so simple, plus it's a good opportunity to do a visual inspection.
