Dash display malfunction

Recently I posted that my dash display had completely stopped working on my 500 mile 2014 Vantage.
The car is now at Miller Motorcars and to date, they have no idea what the problem is.
Hopefully will report good news shortly.

Aston is supplying a brand new instrument module.
Will arrive from the UK on Monday.
Should be good to go shortly
Thank God for warranties.

I imagine your warranty will expire soon. You barely have enough miles to have shaken out any issues your car could have from the factory. I really would advise putting some miles on it prior to the warranty expiration.

Thanks for the advice.
Actually bought it new in May of 2015.
About 18 months of warranty left.
I should drive it more frequently.
Too many cars and too little time.

When was it built? I think that's what matters for warranty purchase, or when it was delivered to the dealer? I think the in service date is the phrase.

In service means when the car was delivered to the first customer; nothing to do with manufacture date or delivery to dealer.

I was just informed that it ends on 12-31-17.
Can't explain it but Deckman was correct.

if it was bought new in May of 2015, then the warranty is good till May 2018. Date of manufacture has no bearing on the warranty. The only way the warranty is activated is based on first possession. Now, if the dealer took ownership for demo purposes or similar, then they might have activated the warranty, but I don't think they can sell it as new (but maybe not).

My car was built in May, but delivered in July, at which time the 3 year warranty took effect. Warranty start/stop effectivity is listed on the car configuration printout you can get from any dealer.

My bill of sale states that the in service date is 5-30-15.
Aston and my dealer apparently will be correcting the warranty dates.

Aston, Vienna Virginia has been flexible and straightened out my warranty issue.

Miller Motorcars delivered my car earlier today. The instrument module was apparently faulty.
Their work and respect for my Vantage was remarkable.
Nice to have it back in my garage.

Just took my Vantage for it's first ride following the replacement of the dash display module.
I can't praise Miller Motorcars enough.
Perfect work and absolutely no damage to my vehicle.
My 14' now has 560 miles....should drive it more often.
Standard shift makes it very special.
Comparing it to my R8 and Carrera S, it is clearly my favorite.
