Rechargeable flashlight/torch
Rechargeable flashlight/torch
So I've ordered the rechargeable flashlight for my 2016 Vantage GT. The flashlight is supposed to go in the power outlet socket inside the center console. I checked that socket today and realize that it has power even when the car is off and the doors are locked. So does that mean I only have the flashlight plugged in some of the time I don't have the flash light yet however so I can't try it out. Does any one have one of these already?

If your flashlight is fully charged, it will only be a parasitic drain if left hooked up to the car. I have one, but I only hook it up when I am on a long drive, which means when I get a flat at night coming home from work, it will be dead or near dead, kidding of course.
Plug it in and do not worry is my vote.

Plug in and forget. It only draws current up to the point it is fully charged.
You will know it's charge when the light comes on once inserted into the socket.
Enjoy, it's a nice little accessory (touch).

Thanks, every one. I am anxiously awaiting my shipment from Stewart at Velocity. I have a set of GT luggage coming,as well has the flashlight and some touch up paint. About a week later a alcantara steering wheel with yellow stitching. This has been a long road. I ordered most of this back in September 2016. None of the delays has been Stewart's fault Aston Martin's way of communicating and dealing with orders seems quite arcane and laborious.
