Yeah, I was curious too Frank. They did say that with some wheels that have a fragile lacquer, BMWs, and the AM sometimes, that the hard rubber wheel can still crack it in spots, but not often.

They took their time and care. They one touchless machine and two trained to use it.

 

Is it me or does the second picture looks as if the jack is way more inside to the jack point? Could have swear is pretty much right underneath the side skirt.

 

I was under there having a look and it was in the right place.

After the thread on here about the rails I took a copy of the jacking point diagram along with me and had a chat about it first. super paranoid.

 

Yup, After that thread, I have made adaptors for all four locations and leave it in the glove box now. Nothing like VelocityAPs, made them out of polyurethane BMW adapters.

 

That is so cool. I wonder if any one in California has that machine.

great to hear, i've got one near me that i've dealt with often in the past, but haven't taken the vantage there for anything yet. i hope they have a similar machine at the one by me.

its in your handbook for the car. It's a very basic diagram. I just photocopied it.
