Tire & Wheel sizes for Vantage-Need HELP to decide
I'm thinking to get 20 inch wheels., Like the look of 20 inch wheels.
Front 9x20 - 255/35/20
Rear 11x20- 305/30/20 most likely Michelin PSS
what is the best offset for this setup?
Have anybody run into any problems(rubbing, scraping)issues??
I have Velocity AP springs that lowered less than inch.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm guessing you mean 11 x 20 on the rear
As the standard 8.5 front has an offset of 50.4 with a 9 width that will mean the outside is 6mm further out (1/4 inch). As the standard spacer for the front is (11mm) 15mm ( Sheriffdep is correct - not sure why i picked 11mm) to get the wheels set in the guards you will need 9 mm more in the new offset. That means taking that amount off the offset - so a 9" wide wheel with a 42 offset will give you wheel that sits 11mm further out.
Now to the rear standard 9.5" has an offset of 62.5mm. The standard spacers for the rear are 23mm. Your 11" wheels will give you 19mm (3/4 inch) so you want another 4 or 5mm. Therefore an offset of 57 or 58 will give you that
Just make sure you have clearance on the inside as the rear will extend 15mm further in reducing clearance
Note these numbers relate to early Vantages - later ones have different wheels

Tire diameters & revs/mile could be a concern
Your selected tire diameters are approx. 26.1" front and 27.2" rear, according to information on Tirerack, and could potentially cause a problem with the braking and DSC systems, under certain circumstances.
Going to a 255-35R20 front brings that diameter to 27" which is much closer to the rears...just a thought.
And since the rears normally wear faster than the fronts, at some point the diameters could be equal .

Plenty of threads and pictures showing you what you want for a Vantage. Not sure why threads are created asking the same questions over and over.
here is a link for you to figure this out.
Normal spacers for factory Vantage and DB9 front are 15mm and 20-23mm for the rear. Not sure where the poster above got 11mm for fronts. Plenty of threads showing this.
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ory-guide.html
By the way, V8V owners typically use +42 front and +52 rear with 20's. But, again, a ton of threads for you Vantage V8 owners. Start using a calculator which is listed in the above posts to figure out numbers.
There are NO threads covering DB9s with sizes and offsets. I had to figure this on my own.

Since I have done the research for my DB9, I had to go through hundred of pages of Vantage posts. I am 95-98% sure what you are wanting will have no issues. However, you need to look at the offset calculators and figure what offsets look like compared to OEM Stock. You can use offsets and sizes like on the DBS wheels to compare how different your setup would be, V8 guys run DBS wheels with no issue.
BUT, several owners are running what you want to run. Find out which ones, and PM them for specifics.
In my link, you should have all you want to know by researching.

Avo- I know we have been going back and forth on pm regarding spring install. I never sent you my offsets for my P101's.
I run 20X9.5 ET35 front. In HRE P101 they are 20lbs. Tire is 255/30/20
I run 20X11. ET47 rear. In HRE P101 they are 22lbs. Tire is 305/25/20
Your car is now a touch lower than mine in the front and mine is close to rubbing on the sides as drop was more than I expected. I will actually wash the car next weekend and get good pics.

Appreciate all the info & advise/photos. Haven't made up my mind what style wheels to go with. but for sure its going to be size 20's. Recently bought 20 inch DBs/DB9 used set, i think it looks great, but..... still tinkering......
Please send me all aftermarket wheels photos you might have on your car. It's so hard to choose the "IT" one. Too many options.
BTW: Going to sell my V12 wheels/tires set. pm me if interested, & still have set of brand new Zagato wheels too.
