Hello fellow AM owners and enthusiasts
I have an 2012 Vantage, and wanted to find out if there is any aftermarket options to upgrade the bluetooth so i can stream music from my phone
Any help much appreciated
That looks promising. But i still need to get the 30pin connection installed, right? Sorry, I'm a new owner, so if i missed something, please take to easy on me. LOL
Just look up Video Tune2Air on Amazon. Get the one with the correct Audi hookup that your Vantage has. The you will be good to go. Hands down, this is the best streaming solution for cars that cannot do it automatically. Works with Any Bluetooth device such as Android or Apple. I use my older iPod Touch with mine as a dedicated device. But it will connect and disconnect as you get in and out of the car if you use your phone.

Found it, ordered the USB option.
Thank you so much for your help!
Just let the dealer install the AM bluetooth upgrade for Euro 700 all in (pre 2008 models are more expensive because of extra hardware). Very good choice, since it is fully integrated and adds some more bluetooth phone options as well (for full specs see other thread).
Tune2Air USB didn't work... well it worked, but no basic controls like skip song, etc.
Wonder if i'll get a 30 pin iPad connector an than get 30 pin Tine2Air unit will it give me some controls.

Fast Scroll
For those customers who have a large number of contact names stored in their phone, the
Fast Scroll feature will help them find those contacts later in the alphabet faster.
Quickly turning the ‘Tone - ♪’ dial engages the Fast Scroll feature by allowing the user to skip to the beginning letter of the name of the contact rather than each individual contact.
This function is also available when using audio streaming to move quickly through the track list.
Bluetooth Audio Streaming
In line with the latest 15MY vehicles, the upgrade now offers Bluetooth audio streaming. Using the latest A2DP protocol, the software allows music to be streamed from supporting
Bluetooth devices.
There is a new “BT” option when source is selected which switches to the Bluetooth device. Track and artist data are also shown on the display screen.
BTW, the SIRI / OK Google voice activiation option is already available in newer cars without this BT upgrade.
On such a car this seems money well spend.......since you have a MY12 car, this upgrade is not that expensive
I just purchased a 2013 Vantage and it came with a cable that plugs into the connector next to the USB port. It appears to have the older iPod/iPhone 30-pin connector. Presumably you could use a 30-pin to lightning converter to hook up a newer iDevice. I'm just using a flash drive for my music.
