I remember reading that this was a possible upgrade for AMIiii but has anyone done this? Dealer didn't seem to know anything about it

 

It's standard on all 2017MY cars and available as a dealer upgrade on 2016+MY cars and all Vanquishes

 

That's what I thought, but my dealer has no idea. Wonder if an independent can install it

 

This is the part number from Aston for it. The dealership has to know what it is

The Aston Martin web site, said it was supposed to be available on my 2016 Vantage GT. But when I ask the dealer for the upgrade, I was told only 2017 cars.

The upgrade for 2016MY cars and Vanquishes only became available a few months ago. Previously, only 2017MY cars had the new system.

 

Yes I know. It was two months ago that Itook my car into the dealer. I also called my local Aston Martin service rep in the Southern California area, and he concurred it is not available on any 2016 model Aston Martin.

As far as I know, parts are in stock for the "Update Pack" and compatible with 2016MY cars.

 

Well I guess the dealers here in SoCal obviously have no experience installing it so we'll have to wait
