Best Black for the V8V?
It's a BMW color. Aston offered colors that came from other marques.
Hi...in Grants book page 232...only Jet Black
and a few other black colors listed such as black bear..Nero black...carbon black etc...even under other manufacturers colors...no piano black
I would check the vin and color under hood or in trunk to verify..

The Aston and BMW carbon blacks are the same in name only. The BMW Carbon black contains a lot more blue.
My Aston is Nero Black Metallic, and is gorgeous. My build sheet lists it as a sample match, and the dealer told me it was a Ferrari spec color. Either way, I prefer it over the Jet and Onyx...
Recently I had the pleasure of seeing a Ceramic Grey in person, and I was more than a little jealous :-)
Cleanliness is what it is. To simplify, I had mine wrapped and coated with Modesta.
If I had the option to spec a new car today, I would stick with a non-black color for sure!
