Hello, AMCan-- I have a 2014 V8V and your pictures of the removed key module is so helpful. My issues is not a sticking key, but that the white light (on the right-top of the module) that illuminated the key port is flickering and sometimes goes out. When you had yours disassembled, did you see any wires or anything that might be able to be wiggled to make the light connection better? It's all I can think of without having to replace the entire module! Thank to the Forum for any help-- Kip

If you're having light issues, the source is ED'S that are soldered to the main board of the station. Probably best to replace it.

Hello, J doubleU--

Thanks for the info. Do you mean the "LEDs" are soldered to the main board? And is this board a separate part that can be replaced as an end user that is accessible under the waterfall?

Thanks!

Kip

It's all part of the docking station assembly, non serviceable by almost everyone.

So this is wild that you resurrected this thread to discuss flickering LED's.......

...becuase mine also just started doing that that grrrrr

It's most likely that the small SMD LED's are failing but give then cost about 1 cent / penny each, and a new dock is $1000 i'm going to try to fix it myself b soldering new SMD's on. I'll let you know how I get on.....

Sorry to hear you are experiencing this, too! Yes, please keep us posted. I would love to find a way to repair this.
