Hi
Has anyone any idea on what the labour time would be to replace this kit which does include the cooler? Thanks😀

Have you called a dealer for a price quote? Many independent shops will beat the dealer install price to get the job. Hard to guess what would be the cost/time in your area to change the lines and cooler.

Yes, I was expecting 8 hours which would include an oil change, however, that time has doubled, as I want to be fair in paying for their time spent I would like to be sure what is acceptable for work done. 😁thanks

8 hours with an oil change sounds like a fair price. 16 hrs. Is highway robbery.

I changed just the trans cooler a couple of weeks ago. Is a big job. Local garages here quoted £1800 (I’m in London UK). Main dealers even more.

Front and rear undertray comes off. Wheel arch liners and front bumper also. You will have rusted bolts that will snap.

I didn’t change the actual lines because they were not leaking but I think that is not too hard. Good access from underneath.

Problem is refilling and checking auto fluid level. Have to run up to around 30-50c. The issue is the hot exhaust pipe in proximity to the fill plug..

can be done one without removing the exhaust pipe as the workshop manual states. Just remove heat shield and you should have enough access.
