Anybody using BlackVue DR750S-2CH IR Dash Cam

After installing CarPlay, I am thinking of installing BlackVue DR750S-2CH IR Dash Cam with B-124 Battery pack. Anybody here using this unit in their Aston Martin? Please share your thoughts .

I've done a little research, and still can't find one I'm completely satisfied with. The BlackVue seem to suffer from overheating issues and less than stellar night vision. YMMV. My $.02 worth.

Thank you! I am also concerned about heat and hesitating.

I was thinking of putting a couple of these little Garmin Mini, they are very small and won't be seen too easily

I have a ThinkWare in my SLK55 and my V12S - the I-Phone connection in both cuts out after a few seconds - irritating - and a slight fishbowl effect - otherwise no complaints. Apparently the C8 Vette I got my name on to replace the SLK55 as a daily driver has forward cameras that can record so no need for a dash cam!

The reason I have the CAM's is I had a Ford Focus leased, and this lady came at me head on (wrong lane) and with my horn blaring she just kept on as if in a trance and smashed into me. With no witnesses - her attorney said we hit her! Allstate handled it, but showed us partially at fault - that's never going to happen again with the cams - at least if the 'electronic witness' is forward of the car.

Have the Blackvue in my DBS, it works good and is small! No heating problems. Indeed in the dark the images are not overwhelming, but good enough to see what happened.

I've had the BlackVue DR750S-2CH for 18 months, not the IR version, and with the device for cutting power when the battery dips to a certain voltage. No major complaints, its extremely discreet.

I wanted the picture quality of the DOD RC500S-2CH, but BlackVue had the better parking mode, which was more important to me.

Most annoying thing is whenever I'm in range of the car my phone connects to the camera's wifi, which drops out 4G, so I need to switch off my phone's wifi to use google maps etc. I can deal with that.
