From what I gathered those wheels weigh approximately 21.7 lbs & 23.9 lbs respectively. With the right HRE's you can save between 5-7 lbs (2.2 to 3.1 kg) per wheel.

3.1kg x 4 = 12.4kg for around £8000. Not sure its worth it. I like the look of HRE wheels but just way too much for me for the saving. I could save 9.8kg upgrading to 2piece discs for £800
I know HRE wheels (and other brands) arent just about weight, they look amazing but just too much money. Now if Titan7 made an Aston fitment.....

For every pound shed on rotational mass (wheels) it equals about 3.5 lbs of unsprung mass so you're looking at massive savings that are noticeable both on day-to-day driving and track performance. HRE is not only about looks & performance but more importantly quality. You can beat these wheels up over & over & over and they will still be in tip-top shape. That is why they come with a lifetime structural warranty. The same can't be said for other brands mentioned here. Often times you end up paying now & then again later if/when things fail.
Ditto. Wish those were available in the US. Tungsten is one of the better silvers if you ask me, but I'm biased.
Unless you're building a full on race car then the price of super-lightweight wheels is hard to justify. For a street car it's more about looks than performance. But if you're going to get new wheels anyways then might as well make them as light as you can.
Hello all!!
I had thought about 20" wheels but having seen the prices of HRE / BC forged etc do not think it is worth the massive cost.
A friend is developing an Ohlins coilover kit for the car so will probably get that.
Congrats on the car, looks like a great spec!
If you are looking for a nice cost effective but track oriented wheel, take a look at APEX Race Parts. I'm running their SM10 Mustang Fitment (as I found the specs perfect for AM) in a 19x10 ET40 and 19x11 ET52 which fits well with the coilovers I'm running. They are currently in the works of making an AM specific wheel option which I believe will be out in the next few months.
My 2009 came with Sportpack wheels as well and was a must have back then. However the 19" seemed too small after I lowered her.
New wheels was a great upgrade for me since I moved to from Bridgestone to Michelin PS4s. Comfort, grip and road noise improved even going from 19 to 20"
No disputing HRE make a great wheel but lifetime warranty is pretty common. Titan 7 have lifetime warranty on their forged wheels and you can buy a set for the cost of one HRE.
So far:
HRE - too expensive
Brixton - Too expensive
Anrky - Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too expensive
BC forged, waiting to hear back on
Titan 7 no plans to make Aston fitment yet
Will keep looking but the standard wheels are pretty good to be fair. Will check out Mustang fitment Apex wheels. Thanks
I know they're made in the same factory by HRE but I thought they were lower in price.

The VS Forged wheels piqued my interest. I like the VS02 better than the 08, but they have several nice looking designs. Spending $2k per wheel is a tough sell, but $600-800 is much more reasonable.
I currently have 20" DBS wheels on my Vantage that I like, but they are a bit busy and a PITA to clean. I'd also like to go a little wider. Wheels weren't on my radar at moment, but I'm following this thread with interest. I'm curious to see what color you decide upon.

The old adage is that you get what you pay for. I would recommend saving up to get a quality wheel like an HRE or ANRKY. It's odd that Titan 7 says they have no plans to make an Aston fitment. This tells me that either (a) their wheels are cast or (b) they purchase pre-made forgings from someone else. Otherwise why wouldn't they be able to make a wheel in any size if they are truly custom forged?

ANRKY has 4 different wheel series. HRE has more than a dozen wheel series. Each wheel series has different prices. ANRKY has wheel that are less expensive than some HRE's & more expensive that some HRE's & vice-versa.
Perhaps you can help with the weights of the sport pack 19" lightweight forged sport pack wheels then? I havent been able to find any weights for them online, but have seen 20" x 10" HRE P101 are 22lb (10kg in my world). Would be interesting to know whether "upgrading" to HRE would see a 15kg weight saving, and on what size wheels I would see that.
Matt-may I ask where you got the weight for the HRE P101? I own them and believe that typical sizing in 20" is 9.5 X 20" and 11 X 20" in the rear. Weighed mine on the FedEX scale when I was shipping one of the 11 X 20" back to the factory and believe I remember it being 20 lbs. I have a picture somewhere...
