Question Set Analog Clock in Rapide?

How do I set the analog clock in the Rapide? The GPS and analog clocks are 8 minutes apart.

More than likely you'll need a new clock, doubt its a setting issue.

So it takes its setting from the GPS?

Correct, the GPS is how you set the time for the clock, ive seen this before and it was something internal in the clock. Sometimes a hard reset will correct it for a short manner but they always seem to be ~6-8min off.

I thought it was set from the GPS. The clock changes this weekend, I'll see where I stand then. Is it a pain to swap? I am going to the dealer in a month or so to mount my winter wheels and a few other things.

Center console has to come out... dealership probably will charge 3-4hrs my guess.

You can go to the clock settings and change it to manual in 5min increments to get it closer. Have them reset it and see if happens again on your next visit.

I had the same issue with my clock....multiple times. Dealer would reset when I had the car serviced.
Dealer performed a hard reset (whatever that means) a couple of years ago and clock has been accurate since.
Thanks,
JH

My clock does not seem to be connected to the Nav. It was pretty much spot on till DSTime. The time in the Nav is correct but now my clock is 1 hour ahead. I guess I’ll check to see if the manual has anything.

Interesting. I did not try setting my nav clock to the new change or just adjusting it in general. Out of town for the week... Clock is so hard to read, it's slipping my priorities to fix as of now. Will revisit it this weekend when I am home.

Thanks,

Hard reset is when you disconnect the battery terminals and touch the body side terminal ends together for ~1 min to reset all the settings and drain the resistors in any electronics. Basically a reset for the electronics. Resolves 75% of AM issues lol

Try hard reset, as stated above.

OK....good thread but does not answer my specific issue (2010 V8V)....battery was disconnected last week while the LoCo Exotics good folks installed a new clutch and door struts- a fantastic job but they didn't get to re-setting the analog clock. I was able to scroll thru and easily find "Clock set" but once it toggles thru "1" or "2", it refuses to further adjust, e.g. move to the right and adjust the minutes. No amount of toggling with the Toggle button below it will work.
ANY ideas, fellow AM owners? And don't (plse) suggest I 'just ignore it. Waay too ocd for that I'm afraid! T I A

I ended up having the dealer reset it. They disconnect the center console & once plugged in they set the time with the ADMS. I have it done on the annual service, but skipped this season.

Thnx but that's not an option for me. And the labour rate for them is like 250/hr. Nope. I guess I will just glance at my watch....! LoL
