To each is own, it is your car and you can do anything you want with it. I would have bought an wreck Vantage and bring it back to life with such mod and not taking one that is or look in perfect condition. Good luck with the mods

I upgraded my 2004 DB9 to the 2011 Virage / new DB9 with upgraded front bumper, side sills and rear bumper+diffuser and deck lid spoiler. To top it all off I installed a DBS bonnet. I believe its essential to be able to reverse all in future so have not sold any of the original parts. Other then that for me it's part of the joy of ownership.

Oh yea, I’m not touching the original bumper... I got a used bumper and the center piece off ebay for $500 to cut up... There will be no cutting on my car... Not even a new drill hole..

While there are going to be lots who do not agree with this, I like the originality and desire to make it your own. Keep posting pics please - I'd love to see the progress on this.

Hey thanks!

I know some AM purest don’t approve of the mod and I respect that.... When I make the fiberglass mold of this puppy... I will sell them a mod bumper too!

I’m waiting on my Cobalt Blue to show up so I can shoot it and then on to the swap!

Mesh fitting..

I’ve gotta remount my front sensors into the grill...

That ceiling looks really steep to me - typical is 8 to 15 degrees. IIRC the steeper angles can be used with properly positioned wings fore to aft. It would be good if you could get the plane of the trans cover to feed the inlet of the diffuser in the same plane. Cant' tell if there is an offset, but I suspect there is with the inlet of the diffuser sitting lower than the trans cover.
