Power Folding Mirror Malfunction!

So I did search on this and though I found related issues with folding mirror problems and door locks, I did not find this particular problem. Please let me know if you have any additional info.

I have a 2006 V8V. So I was driving home today and was at a stop light when I noticed my side view mirror on the passenger side started to move on its own. The mirror adjustment angle and not the folding mechanism. It kept moving so the angle was pointing upwards and outward until it reached its limit. It then just continued to pop as the adjustment motor continued to run and trying to move it past its limit. I pulled over and turned off the car hoping it would cut power to mirror or maybe reset it. But it continued to move slightly and pop. Left it off hoping maybe car would go to sleep and turn it off. After 5 minutes it was still doing it and I just started it back up and drove it home. When I got it home, I noticed that I could not roll down the passenger side window or open the passenger door. Tried unlocking it with the remote, key and switch on the center console, but that did not do it. When I tried to fold the mirrors by pressing both left and right mirror selection buttons at the same time, only the drivers side responded. So I took off the passenger carpet and the cover for the interior fuse box while hanging over the center console from the drivers seat. Luckily I'm somewhat tall, thin and have long arms. I removed the passenger door module fuse which cut power to the mirror. The movement and popping finally stopped! Let it sit for a few minute and re-inserted the fuse and it seems to be fine now. Very strange!

The only thing I've done recently that might affect this is put in a new battery 2 weeks ago. It need it. I was having long crank times and window drop issues. Both these issues seem to be fixed with a new battery. I've probably driven it 10 times since then with no issues. I did have the door panels out a few months ago. I'm going to keep an eye on it and hope this fixes the issues or I'm guessing I might need a new passenger door module if it keeps acting up.

Anyone hear of something like this happening. Like I mentioned, I've read about issues with folding mirrors and door locks.

The mirror motor and window motor have constant power but use the switch for ground and direction of movement. I would check for any moisture or material creating the ground at the switch, module or connectors.

after new battery, should reset door and window modules... on occasion, I've had a door lock or window fall issue, pulled the appropriate fuse abs all was well again... some quirky issues for sure
