I bought a 2011 V8 Vantage S this past summer and it rides a little stiffer around town than I'd like it to be. Sorry, I've tried searching for suspension info and haven't really found clear answers anywhere.
Does the S have a stiffer suspension than than the base Vantage? Is the S suspension the same as the Sport pack?
Would changing to the base suspension given me what I'm looking for (smoother ride around town)? What components would need to be changed?
Would putting in something like Bamford Rose's adjustable suspension give me the best of both worlds? (or would that be what I have now, and stiffer?) I assume retrofitting the V12VS adaptive suspension isn't really an option.
Thanks for the help. Here's a picture of my car as partial payment...
I belive the S suspension is same as the sport pack. I switched to progressive springs from Velocity AP and the difference was amazing. Noticibaly a lot smoother + it looks a lot better lowered.

Same with me, My car is 2013 V8 came with sports pack suspension, I've installed Velocity AP springs with 3/4 inch lowered all corners & nice comfortable ride with much better stance with 20 inch Aston oem wheels, love the looks & ride.DB9/DBS double spoke .
I'm worried about lowering the vehicle (I have a tendency to scrape things and.. carbon fiber) and VAP suggested their adjustable shocks to go with the springs... but the shocks are 4x the price of the springs... OUCH!
