Cygnet in the US?
The Toyota interior is far cry from the Cygnet and the doors open different on the Cygnet. I've seen a few for sale and if some have already been Federalized, it would be easier for me to import one.
I believe that AM only made a few hundred and it may be possible to get one on show and display but it would be an expensive process. Question has been asked before.

There's a lot of speculative posts, but no has anything factual to say on this. I've exported cars and motorcycles to Switzerland, but never imported a car. I think there is a list of cars that have been federalized already somewhere.
I wish, would love to have one of these
first call would be to a specialist who federalizes cars in your area
and then second would be actually finding one for sale in the UK or wherever and having them get it here

awesome find, a manual too!
I'm not sure exactly the process, but there is a mechanism where you could petition the NHTSA to declare the Cygnet "substantially similar" to the Scion iQ on which it's based. If approved, it would then be eligible for importation.
Of course, I don't think that process qualifies as "without too much hassle".
