Volvo remote programming codes

Hello all,
I have this new Volvo remote with the programming codes. Does anybody here know how to decipher this label? 30772198 is the part number. Is the 16-digit code up top what’s needed for programming? Or the 8 digit code below it? Or both? I’m assuming the right side is all Fs since this package only contained the one key.
I’d just like to know which code is relevant so I can put a little sticker on the transmitter itself in case it ever gets separated from the code.
Thanks all.

Here is your code. You need a laptop with AMDS to register your key. Please note your second slot is FF as there is no key attached.

Both the 8# and 16# codes are required for programming. You should just have it programmed by a dealer and be done with it.

This is right. Both numbers are required for programming: #8 is the key ID, while #16 is the programming code.

Is it possible for a Volvo dealer to program the key? They are many more Volvo dealers around and likely much cheaper for the service.

Buy multiple remotes and have the dealer program all of them for the 1 time cost. Doesn't get any cheaper or easier.

Call Volvo and ask.

The little black chip is an RF chip however the circuit is a transmitter and you you will need a receiver to see it. The RF chip is needed to start the car and other circuit is for the remote control of the door locks. US and Japan I think use 315 Mhz and Euro uses a higher frequency. Even if you can read it you will need to know what the key expects in order to program it and that is not public information.
