On my 2007 Vantage I have a power socket that is in the trunk on the right side. But I I don’t have the 3 way plug as shown in the owners manual. So I guess I use the power socket to plug the charger in. Am I correct? If not please advise what I need to do. Thanks.

 

As a new owner I noticed the same thing. It might be the US vs UK fittings are different and not captured in the manual, but it its a standard cigar lighter socket.

 

My US 2008 V8V has 2 plugs in the trunk, one has a green ring and is for charging. I don't know if the single socket works for charging or not though, so I'm really not much help.

 

Yes, 12v outlet in the RR for charging. The earlier version was the 3-pin round found in other AM models previously for all markets. The owners book isn't always up to date. So you will need the lighter socket adapter.

 

My 2007 came with the battery tender from the factory and it uses a cigarette-lighter-style connector to connect to the matching jack in the right rear of the trunk. That's the only 12v connector in my trunk...
