Anyone driving a 2019+ Vantage experience the check engine light yet? Misfires? I know the MB S63 4.0L Biturbo (current Vantage engine) had CEL problems due to misfires..
If youre an under the hood person with this 4.0L TT, you gotta get the newest Foxwell NT680 Pro... The real time data is f*ukin awesome! I was able to disable the A button on start up!
Thought I would add this to this thread in case anybody has the CEL issue.
Apparently the engine has a potential water damage issue to the coils. See photo of my car after 3 1/2 years and 7000 miles.
Check engine light came on. Water gets down into the plug area and causes havoc. AMG has a new design for the coils to include some ribs.( also see photo.)
By the way, don't expect any help from Aston on getting this fixed. I had the Timeless warranty and they still gave me weeks of grief about covering this issue. I don't know what Stroll thinks he is doing with his "Ultra-Luxury" branding but Aston's warranty coverage is garbage. Maybe you are not suppose to drive the cars in the rain.
Semitone, Hello ! I am unfortunately running into this issue now, 7K miles... Did your car store any other codes ? I am having misfire problems under heavy throttle, keep getting P0087 Fuel pressure low, followed by Cylinder 1 & 2 misfires... I had the high pressure fuel pump replaced right before warranty expired, and the misfires are an intermittent issue.... I pulled plugs 1 & 2 and they don't look as bad as your picture but still corroded .... just feels like an electrical miss to me.. just curious of your issues ??
I brought the car to the dealer because I thought it was an issue covered by the warranty ( AM corporate claimed it was “water damage” and “spark plugs” so not covered. Complete a$$holes. In the end, the dealer made it right but it was a fight.). So I never hooked up a reader and saw the codes for myself.
I never did get comfortable with the reason why this happened. The dealer said the cowl was misaligned and it won’t happen again. I’m not completely convinced or assured.
I heard through the rumor mill that AMG has extended warranty to coil packs to 10 years because of issues. I’ve heard nothing similar from Aston. Not sure if it’s accurate.
Good luck with solving the problem.

Dang, that's a bummer about your 2019 Vantage, man. Check engine light is never a good sign. The dealer says you need new coils due to water ingress? That's messed up. And to top it off, your warranty won't cover it? That's some bull.
Have you tried reaching out to Aston Martin directly? Maybe they can hook you up with a contact that can help you out. Being a second owner ain't helping, but at only 5700 miles, new coils shouldn't be something you gotta deal with yet. Plus, I heard they got a new design on the coil packs, so maybe that's the problem.
I just had this exact thing happen to me with my 2019 Vantage
Short Version of Story: Check Engine Light popped up > Took it to Dealership > said cyl 5,6,7,8 misifiring > They said replace spark plugs > bill was 1k in parts for 8 plugs & 2.5 in labor (roughly) > I said **** that so took it to other dealership becasue they quoted me 1500 over the phone out the door > i did diagnostic n they said coils also ****ed but i said lets just do spark plugs n see if it fixes > keeps misfiring > they check fuel pump said there is some metals in there but unsure of the extent of damage > reccomended doing coils only and revaluating after.
All in im probably looking at 5-7k before fuel pump which is another 7-10k
