Exhaust Remote Control Fuse 15 (22)

Did a search and it looks like many AM owners have pulled fuse 15 (or 22 depending on MY). Any experience good or bad with the Auto Memory Exhaust Remote Control offered by Clive at cccharger.co in the UK?

It replaces the fuse with a relay that can then be operated via remote control and/or programmed to one of the buttons on your rear view mirror link system.

Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated.

Have the remote from Clive and it works great. I do wish you could set the default to just leave the valves open. I have to press the remote every time I start the car.

The one I ordered keeps the valves open or closed depending on the last setting. I think it cost an additional $15.

That was my same choice.
but then you will end up willing to have the secondary cat bypass.
I bought that as well but not installed yet.

ps if you have the garage open module in the rear mirror, you can use two buttons for the valves control.

UPDATE: The kit arrived yesterday. Took all of 10 minutes to install, Worked exactly as described and the relay remembers the last setting so you don’t have to use the fob every time you want to leave the valves open. Sounds so much better!

As soon as I have time to have them installed I'll let you know how the remote plus the bypass work together.

Great! Let me know. On my first Porsche I had the Fister D muffler mod installed. That sound was awesome.

How do you program the rear mirror garage open module to control that valve? Just program it as if it were a garage door?

Yes, exactly the same. Easier to do it than to explain it. Nevertheless I keep the original remote in the car even if I never had to use it, since when I set the rear mirror up.

Here you have: clive.chedzey@ntlworld.com

I ordered mine, the Auto Memory Exhaust Remote Control V8 Vantage to 2018, and I am very happy with it. It is a compulsory mod. Totally recommended.

I bought this:
https://www.cccharger.co.uk/product-page/auto-memory-exhaust-remote-control-vantage

It is amazing and the most simple thing to install.

Same. I like that this version remembers the last "status" of the valve.

Remote valve control is the best money I have spent on the car to date. A must have item IMO. If I were to order it again, I would get the one that defaults to valves open.
