OE Replacement PPF - On the Struggle Bus...

So, I watched about a gazillion YT video's before buying my first AM. I bookmarked a lot of sites.... I swear I bookmarked a site that offered (OEM?) die-cut PPF replacements for the rear fender/wheel-well. Mine look like French Crackle pottery, and 1 of the pieces is missing. Can anybody point me in the right direction? I have spent like 2 hours searching this AM, and really need to do some legit work.

Thanks-
Tom

If I'm not mistaken (former Land Rover parts guy) you're looking for what is called the Sill Tape. This diagram from Scuderia should help narrow it down...Not sure I can post a link but...

I think you're looking for 27 and 28.

Honestly, you may be better off with an aftermarket brand (XPEL, the usual other suspects) with a warranty. I had to do that with a 911 and it worked out just fine. Same for the DB9, PPF applied on much of the front and changed the pieces in the back so all would match and fit under the PPF warranty.

It is great to do things yourself, however, with this I'd probably let an installer deal with it. Also, you could customize the piece if you wanted a particular size.

I one hundred percent agree with having something like Xpel installed professionally so that it all matches and you get a warranty. It will get torn up again. You might as well have everything match and a good paint correction done when you have it taken care of.

Yes, should have added that - remove old pieces, have paint corrected (or at least a good polish to smooth it), then PPF applied, then top coat (ceramic, wax, your favorite) as the top layer.

If you desire factory, Aston Martin Bits has it for less cost than Scuderia, but I'd get Xpel dome on a larger area. I had my C8 entire lower area from the front wheel to the rear done in Xpel.

WOW! Thanks all... Great advice. I spent 10 mins looking @ Scud parts, could not find it. Car was just paint corrected before I bought it... I ended up re-doing it... I don't want to peel the old stuff off until I get the new pieces. Would not mind having a local shop do it for me, but finding one in the area (DFW) and getting the car there for 1/2 day may take it easier for me to do,,, I'll poke around and let y'all know what I decide to do... Thank you again!!!
