Hey guys, refreshed the page a few times and doesn't seem like this was discussed at all yesterday. Maybe because the 333 units being produced are reportedly all spoken for, but nonetheless I am curious as to what the forum thinks of the car?
Seems a pretty cool offering, and some of the styling should be well received (wider track, center exit exhaust, larger, almost more traditional front grill), but no manual transmission as was widely known ahead of time. And is it just me or does anyone else get a bit of a GTR vibe from the side vents?
I am assuming you meant GT Black Series? Yep a bit. But also google Aston Martin V12 GT3, which also has that design on the side. So it's motorsports inspired (reduction of wheel well pressure). The larger front grille definitely resembles the GT BS as well.
I like the hood vent, exhaust design, would prefer a wing delete, bucket seats are amazing (euro spec only?). It's an aggressive looking car.
I configured a British racing green with tan interior I thought it looked decent exterior (too bad some of those changes did not make it to the regular Vantage) - still think nothing fixes the interior, a convoluted mess. I still would take the V12S over the new V12 Vantage, but they did a decent job with what they had to work with.
I'm liking it a lot. The exterior is a bit fussy but looks much better than the current Vantage. They fixed some of the proportion issues it has.
I'm hoping they offer the green that Mr. JWW put on the DBX's that he designed with Q. It's an amazing color. Paired with a saddle brown interior and bronze wheels/accents, this would be the best-looking car on the road.

^^ Agree. A bit of a silk purse out of a sow's ear situation, but I think the front grille is a big improvement over the V8V mesh style, and I think breaking up the hood with the vent is a win over the V8V 'slab'. Don't like the wheel styles or the wing.
Good job on exterior and stole some ques from the v12 speedster but wish grill was 20% smaller, 8/10 overall. Interior seats are great but same dash and door panels as usual. The door panel were an easy fix but missed opportunity. With full carbon, all options etc probably $350k. It would be a tough call for me vs a Roma if I had $300k+ type of coin to spend. Below are a few designs I did...
Oh man. That deep red / burgundy and the dark blue with grey are winners!
Agree with everyone else that the exterior looks awesome and the seats are super cool looking. Certainly a step up ... but pretty steep price tag for sure!!!

Same here would take take a V12S over any day. Too me the whole thing is kind of a convoluted mess.
It reminds me of the last generation Pontiac Fire bird. Not the looks, but how General Motors kept adding more sh*t to it every year to it to make it more attractive, it had crap hanging all over it. Doesn't work, does the opposite, becomes cartoonish.

Gosh what a travesty. I love my new Vantage. That is so discombobulated from any angle. Well maybe some will
stop criticizing the design of my lowly v8.
The marketing team makes incredible promo teasers. Makes you want to drive 200mph through the city.
Love the "gills", they balance out the improved grill, very One 77ish, Hate the spoiler on a street car. It's just dumb. Please, write me another ticket officer.
my 2 cents.
No matter what they've tried to do ( adding this & that, tweaking grille & whatever), design of the new gen Vantage was awful from beginning for me.(IMHO) for $300k+ no thanks. I'll go buy a vanquish coupe,+ convertible db9 & and maybe still have some $$$ left for electric car and in the end those will appreciate more in a decade.....
