ECU Key Programing

Hello All,

I'm debating buying a spare ECU Crystal key and having it programmed for my V12V. The question is, are the codes displayed in the attached what is needed for programming? If so, what does the dealer charge to program these keys?

Thanks All

the key codes are on the 1st line and the respective programming codes are on the 2nd line (more digits).
Usually they come in pairs of keys so you need to know if the key you have is the 1st or snd set of numbers.
The you can get ThinkDiag and running it on Android (iOS is buggy). No need to go to the dealer and you can keep the ThinkDiag to read the rest of the car codes.
May be its even cheaper than a dealer to program the key.

Well, this would be a second key that I'm buying online. So not a two-key set. Will that work?

One key is on the blue numbers and the other is with the orange number, that's what new keys usually look like from the dealer.
On ThinkDiag you can read how many keys have been programmed in your car (maximum is 6 keys I think) and you can read which are active and delete the one that are no longer needed.
Then you program the new one with the codes you got with the new key.
Hope this help clarify.
