I’ll suavely acknowledge another Aston and any vintage European (especially British) car. Also any older car that is cool to see out and about. I appreciate design taste and the ownership commitment.

I do the most waving or talking to other exotic/vintage/niche cars when I am on my bicycle. Talking at lights, slow traffic, or more time to respond when I see them in the other direction.

Nothing wrong with mutual-appreciation! Thanks for the comments! KH

I just came across this thread. Like Zuman above, I live in the Mid-West and rarely see Another Aston, let alone when I am driving mine. There is a couple with a DB11 that live near us that I've seen a few times. Only once did I see them when I was in my Aston. I came up behind them and we both waved when they turned off. As stated above mutual-appreciation! As a matter of course, IF I see another Aston while in mine, I will always wave!

I've seen quite a few Astons while driving mine and I always wave. Strangely, I only receive a wave back from those in VH-platform-or-older cars.

You must be from one of the coasts, in the Mid-West seeing another Aston is rare. Before we bought ours, there weren't any near us, now with the folks that bought the DB11 2 years ago and our new DBX there are 3 that I know of within a 25 mile radius. Other than these, I have seen two other Astons in 10 years. (I did run into a few at a large Cars and Coffee, but that was 40 miles away.) The only other Aston I saw when driving mine was the DB11 mentioned above and the woman driving did wave.
