Vantage Driver Seat Folding?

Hi!

For the life of me I can't figure out how to fold the driver's seat back forward to access the parcel shelf on my 2006 Vantage.

The passenger seat folds forward easily with the lever on the seat back. The drivers seat lever feel "flimsy" and the seat back feels like it's still locked back when flipping the lever.

Does the internal lever on these break?

Mine has a button near the outside upper corner of the seat. You don't have one of those? It makes an electro-mechanical noise when pressed. However, I don't know if I am understanding your question. The way you put it is not clear.

like the post above, my 2007 has a button that i press near the headrest the releases the seatback. maybe you are confusing it with the lever on your 2001 dodge ram pickup, because mine has a latch that performs the same task.

I don't have a button I just have a lever on the lower seat back on my 2006.

The same lever works fine on the passenger side just not the drivers side.

Mine is the same as yours, no button and mines got the same problem as well, one works other doesnt.
It feels something is broken in the lever mechanism, have you fixed yours?

I just purchased a 2006 V8V and have the exact same problem. Driver’s side lever feels “loose”. Doesn’t appear to “catch” on the latch that would allow the seat to be tilted forward. Passenger seat latch release works fine. Anyone know the remedy?

Thanks

@Goodshot—-I got it to work! I jiggled the lever and pushed it in a bit. It caught and allowed me to tilt the seat forward. So, give it a shot.
Good luck!
