Torn CV Joint boot

I took my rear wheel off to clean and noticed a bit of oil on the rear under plate. Further inspection discovered a hole in my cv boot near the transmission.

I tried looking for a new rubber Boot and was informed that id had to buy the whole shaft assembly... kind of a waste of material for just a cheap rubber boot.

So now i have to wait for them to get the part for installation

Just wanted to give a heads-up to anyone that has this issue in the future.
