Hey guys. Have any of you modified your air filter boxes to allow for more air intake with noticeable results/benefits? Thanks!

 

Yep, check engine lights. Not worth the time unless you have a custom tune that supports it.

 

Had a 2009 DB9 and completely removed them. Just fabricated some brackets to hold the filters in place. No issues and the intake sound was glorious. A lot of people 'speculated' about them sucking in water from heavy rain or deep puddles.

 

thanks!! I do have a custom tune, but I'll have to check on whether or not doing something to the air filter boxes will have any negative impact. Thanks for mentioning it.

 

You might want to ask Rich from Redpants. I know he had a airbox delete on his web site.
