Transmission accumulator
Transmission accumulator
My 2011 Vantage S Sportshift II roadster would not go into any gear. I had it trucked to a well known and widely used indy shop. They have told me it needs an accumulator and the rear end mechanicals need to be removed to install it.
I am told that the part is on international back order. I have searched the net and this forum for the part, but can find nothing on it. Anyone have an idea?
Thank you as always!

I believe that is the same Graziano transaxle sport shift gear box. It might be worth looking into who else uses that box, and figuring out the part number of the accumulator outside of the Aston system. If I am not mistaken, the Polaris Slingshot uses the same system...Beyond that, as a former parts guy, I would see if the numbers from Graziano in a Polaris parts catalog are compared to the Aston ones and see if they're the same. I bet you a Polaris part is less expensive, but couldn't swear to it.
That assertion is reflected on this very forum:

Accumulator is not sold separately from AM it's the entire valve block $5-$6k. Never heard of one failed on here just hoses and pumps. Even with a bad accumulator it should shift at least once with pump pressure.
