I am in the middle of doing an engine swap on my 2005 DB9. If your interested in seeing the progress through video PM me or search on utube for my name here as that is my channel name as I am not allowed to share the videos on here for some reason. Here are some photos though.

i'm surprised and impressed that the body has been separated from the drivetrain and suspension. don't know how difficult that was (and never will!) but it's GOT to make the swap much less difficult.
Hello, yes it is at my house. My utube channel is just my user name here if you want to see the video series. I was changing me oil last time and I found some bearing material in the oil so I think I am losing a bearing. The engine has 100K miles on it so it is not a surprise.
I came across your channel a few weeks ago. Really appreciate the work, as well as the lack of hyperactive gestures and vocalizations. Continued good luck on your project!
Question, have you purchased another engine or are you rebuilding it? I assume you found a good replacement hence the swap title. I haven't watched your video on YouTube so forgive my ignorance.
I had bearing material by the pound in mine when I pulled it! I like your cradle much better than the wooden ones I made!
Oh my god! Amazing. Great work. I hope to be as successful as you were for sure. I did cheat a little and bought a motor out of a 20K car that I am praying did not have any trouble with low oil but I will be examining it here as we go. Once I get this one in I will be trying to do a rebuild like you did but then I am not sure what to do with the rebuilt engine. I guess I need to find a DB9 with a blown motor!
Anyway, thanks for the link I will definitely be referencing it as I go.

Hello, yes I purchased a motor out of a wrecked 05 DB9 with 20K miles on it. Fingers crossed.
So I got the engine out of the front subframe now and I am working on de-cating the headers. You can see more on that video app we all know and love but here are a couple of photos. My channel name is the same as my name here.
