DB11 climate vents removal?

Hey guys, I have a Aston DB11 in the shop now to have all of the climate control vents replaced. The ***** and louvers are very sloppy on all of them and some are even broken. It appears just about the whole dash needs to be removed to do this. Anyone have a link to disassembly instructions before I spend all day trying to figure it out? Thank you!!!

I work at an indy and we service all the cars for a mercedes dealer that they take in on trade. This cars vents were mangled so I had to replace them. Just about the entire dash had to be removed because the vents mount from behind the dash. I don't see a lot of Astons in my shop so it certainly took me a while to figure out the disassembly, but all is well. On a side note, even the brand new vents from the Aston dealer are terribly loose, but not to the point where they wont stay pointed where you point them....but i'm sure these will be the same loosey goosey vents as I just replaced in no time. Poor design for so much hassle to change.

Hi @eroc0808

I just only saw your thread yesterday and was about to answer but looks like you have it figured now.

I have a pic of one of the DB11 vents, (center vent) and shows mounting tabs that would obviously be behind the dash.

Yes, agree, terrible design. Most other cars these just snap in from the outside of the dash.

All the Best,
