I was offered a free conversion of my Rapide to a Rapide S front end. Dealer sold a new Rapide S and customer wanted to convert it to the non S look. Dealer was looking to save the customer money by swapping parts from my car. The cost was well over 20K at the time. I declined.

Well so far have removed hood, disassembled front end of DB11, removed wiring harness. Purchased and refinished damaged DBS carbon fiber splitter, and got great grille off ebay UK cheap.
Federal bumper arrives from UK next week(Astonbits). Parts in US crazy expensive. Air ducts and front undertray will need to be reworked. If anyone has any insight or info, that would be appreciated.
Thinking 90% doable. All in should hopefully be 2500-3000

What colour is your

I am thinking of doing the same, let me know more about how tricky it is, I am in Australia so I was going to get everything from astonbits
I was interested on how much clearance there was under the carbon spoiler as most for sake are damaged,

This is an ambitious project....Good for you! I am always impressed with those stepping out on the edge with cars, regardless of the genre.

A few owners did this with their 2016/2017 AMG GTs and GTSs, converting the front ends to the newer style grill.

Curious if you have any more updates. I really like that look and curious how hard it was to pull off.

Update, just returning from vacay. In general everything fits sorta. DBS bumper has more curve where it attaches to car which may need to be trimmed and is longer requiring adding to fender liners. DBS grille needs to be brought forward slightly and doesn't attach to metal bumper support the way the DB11 does. Air ducts will need to attach differently. DB11 forward undertray can be cut back to fit. May use license plate supports to help stabilize the grille. Will have to find a way to support bottom of bumper so she don't fly away on me. Where Mark Watney would science the **** out of this, I will most likely be zip tying the **** out of it.
BTW color is tungsten silver with black trim. Purchased this past August. Added black diamond turned snowflake wheels bought out of UK at great price and condition, just put on the VAP cat deletes, and changed to black badging and large black lettering so people don't have to be so close to see.

Experience level for this is zilch, but I have put 142,000 miles on my 2007 Vantage which I have maintained myself after the 3 year warranty. So not afraid to hack on an expensive car. Going for the look not perfection as I keep cars a long time and drive it every day but winter. Will post some photos later.

Grille needs to come up and out at top. This is fully seated in bumper.

DBS a little rounder

Great job, the DBS front end looks ultra aggressive when retaining the DB11 lights and of course it’s very unique. It’s your other car I’m more interested in though…

142k miles is by far the highest miles I have ever heard of on a Vantage. Could you do a post sometime about what fails and when? I know of loads of UK owners who are fearful to go much past 30k in case the car falls apart. Mines done 45k and while I have upgraded the coilovers and automated clutch (twin plate) it still drives like new.
