Happy Sunday all - just wondering if anyone has been able to locate a non-AM positive crankcase ventilation valve - AM part is almost $150. Thinking that perhaps Ford or Volvo makes the identical one. I am unable to conduct that kind of research but DO know that last week my new Fav shop was able to use Ford 02 sensors to replace the factory ones that were 14 yrs old and prone to failure. The Ford ones were significantly less money BTW.
It looks like Steve at Aston1936 uses Motorcraft EV-152D on has a DB9. If I had a DB9 I would follow what he says. He looks to be the best read and best researched guy out there hands down. Amazon has a kit for $25.

the Motorola EV-152D is the pcv used by AM. I used a catch can modification suggested on this forum (from JEGS) that catches about 2 teaspoons of oil on each bank every 1000 miles...
Ok - here is a pic of the Motorcraft --- Call me crazy BUT the two don't really look alike. What am I missing ? This is my PCV valve (note small oil leak on LL quadrant)
This one is on ebay for 99bucks -but is for the 4.3 V8.....here is my QUESTION - will it fit the 4.7L motor? It appears that it will but I am not a Tech by any description. Thanks All!

The PCV valve you show is the one for the V8, it is used in range rovers. Atlantic British carry them for about $70; I believe the motocraft one is for the V12. I ordered one to replace mine as it was starting to buzz but the replacement made such a horrible noise I put the original back on and have ordered one along with the air oils separater from scuderia. Hopefully that one is better.
