Rapide S Misfire Correction

Hello,

I know on the DB9 the misfire corrections need to be relearned after disconnecting the battery. I thought I had read somewhere this only applied to pre 2011. Does anybody know if a 2014 Rapide S also requires misfire correction relearning after disconnecting the battery? Or is it saved now? Thanks!

From discussions with VAP about their ECM tune, the misfire corrections are not affected by disconnecting the battery. They are in a non-volatile memory that can only be cleared with diagnostic software like the AMDS system.

I was asking if they could load an empty misfire table with their ECM flash, but the flash can't address the memory where the misfire corrections are stored.
