Front Wheel arch liners

Does anyone have suggestions on how to reform the shape of them?
My DB9.2 has some cupping happening on the top section; so when installed it is starting to cup downward enough that you can see the underside of the liner when looking into the wheel well.
It's a section about 3" wide, outside and on the inside. The underside of the cupping is also starting to rub on the tire a bit.

I would try heat from a heat gun or a low flame. Once the new position is observed immediately quench in cold water.

These look like the new kind made of some form of felt. Having ordered one for my DBS and receiving it with this same crease, I sent it back and repaired my damaged original one.

Mine had a chunk missing from the front where it had been left unsecured and had been wrecked when dragged on road. I sourced some flexible plastic and - using other side as a template - cut a piece to replace the damaged bit and then riveted it to the original.

I've removed and reinstalled mine several times and understand that it's a battle sometimes. I usually mask off a few inches of the fender and fender lip in an effort to avoid scraping the paint while wrestling them in/out.

I'm VERY picky about things like this, so if I were you, I'd be looking on ebay and other second hand parts suppliers to try and source a "better" set of these. I think you should be able to locate these for a "reasonable" price.

Because the fit is already tight and a bona-fide pain in the ***, to end up with some misshapen liners, after all the work you've put in would be really disappointing. I certainly agree with the idea of trying a heat gun to reshape, but ultimately I don't think you'll ever get those back where they need to be for a proper fit (heat gun or no heat gun).

Good luck.

My solution for the cupping issue on these felt style wheel arch liners...
I ended up using epoxy resin with Kevlar, fiberglass matt and cloth.
I took a 3ft piece of aluminum bar and bent it to match the curve of the wheel well opening, used that to clamp to the wheel arch liners.
After completing them I had to add additional support on the PS liner, again back to the aluminum bar and epoxy.
The final result is really nice as the liners now match the curve of the wheel wells.

That’s really slick, Eddie, thanks for posting! My wheel liners are also creased but seemingly less than yours. I need to put this on the “time permitting project” list!

You're welcome.
I considered several types of repair before settling on this, so i'll see how this holds up.
Also no real change in overall stiffness, no issue remounting the liners.

Thanks. My 2015 liners are the same as your liner was. I was in the process of looking for new liners, but given that the new ones will likely have the same crease, I'm going to repair (improve) the original ones.
